Requirements
Must:
- At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in network engineering
- Active SC Clearance
- Strong understanding of hierarchical IP subnetting
- Knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF and BGP
- Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls
- Expertise in Cisco Nexus and Cisco IOS XE
- Familiarity with leaf and spine network architecture
- Experience with VXLAN overlay networks
- Knowledge of dual cloud dual hub DMVPN solutions
- Proficiency in firewall IPS/IDS and AAA management platforms (e.g., ISE)
- Strong understanding of all aspects of QoS (Traffic Shaping/Policing/Scheduling/Congestion Management)
- Professional certification: CCNP or equivalent (obtained within the last five years)
- Virtualization certification (e.g., VMware VCP-NV) is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Competency in MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Support complex, mission-critical systems for secure infrastructure solutions
- Design and implement robust network solutions
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize performance
- Manage and configure routers, switches, and firewalls
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high availability of network services
- Document network architectures and configurations
- Stay updated with current technologies and apply best practices
