Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates who hold a degree with a 2:1 or above. You will need strong programming skills in Python and R, along with a solid understanding of statistical analysis and quantitative methods. A foundational knowledge of machine learning techniques, such as classification, regression, and clustering, is essential. We value a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, as well as the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Additionally, you must have the right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights. You will support the development and evaluation of machine-learning models and assist with data cleaning, preparation, and feature engineering. Conducting statistical analysis to support business decisions will be a vital part of your responsibilities. You will also build reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal stakeholders and collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams to translate data into impactful results. Staying up to date with the best practices in data science and analytics is essential in this position.
Description
We are located in Farnborough and require this position to be full time in the office. The salary for this role is up to £50,000, and we offer various benefits. We are seeking a driven, analytically minded Data Scientist to work as part of a small team, with the opportunity to lead and grow the Data Science team.
