Must:
We are looking for candidates with a solid background in IT infrastructure and/or network engineering. You should have some exposure to, or a growing interest in, cybersecurity and vulnerability management. A good understanding of network devices, configurations, and security principles is essential. Familiarity with common tools and concepts such as SIEM, DLP, endpoint protection, firewalls, and Cisco Secure Connect will be beneficial. We seek confident individuals who can identify issues, suggest improvements, and collaborate well across teams. A genuine passion for cybersecurity is a must, and while certifications such as CISSP, SC-200, or AZ-500 would be great to see, they are not essential.
Responsibilities
As a Security Operations Engineer, you will manage and optimize security tools and platforms, including SIEM, XDR, and IDAM policies. Your role will involve monitoring vulnerabilities, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions. You will support patching compliance and vulnerability remediation, ensuring that security best practices are applied across networks, applications, and systems. Additionally, you will participate in change reviews and advise on improvements to existing setups while supporting compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, and CAF.
