Requirements

Must:
- I am looking for strong IT project management experience, particularly within M&A environments. - I require expertise in project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP. - It is essential that I have strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. - I want someone with experience working across enterprise IT environments as well as with third-party suppliers. - Familiarity with ITSM tools and infrastructure/cloud landscapes is crucial. - I prefer candidates who are PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certified, or have similar qualifications. - Experience in regulated or high-compliance sectors will be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities

- I will expect you to lead the full project lifecycle for M&A-related IT initiatives. - You will need to build and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines. - Driving project governance will be part of your role, including coordinating steering committees, risk reviews, and stakeholder updates. - You will coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, HR, Finance, Ops) and third-party vendors. - Supporting due diligence by gathering and assessing target IT data will be essential. - You will oversee cutover planning, hypercare, and post-merger benefit tracking. - Proactively managing project risks, issues, and dependencies will be crucial. - I expect you to ensure regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness. - Monitoring and reporting on KPIs, SLAs, and deliverables will be part of your responsibilities. - Delivering regular updates and dashboards to senior stakeholders will also be required.

We represent a high-growth organization that is actively acquiring multiple businesses annually and is building a dedicated M&A IT team to support this expansion. This is a critical, long-term hire, and we seek an experienced Project Manager to play a central role in the successful delivery of complex IT integration projects. You will join a strategically independent team focused solely on M&A integration, reporting to the IT Service Delivery Manager. With up to 10 acquisitions planned each year for the next four years, this is a rare opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where your leadership and delivery skills will directly shape enterprise-wide change. You will gain a significant amount of valuable experience in this role. This position is based in London, requiring you to work onsite for 4 days per week initially, dropping to 3 days once you have passed your probation. The salary for this role ranges from £70,000 to £80,000 PA.
