Requirements
Must:
- Early-career Business Analyst experience
- Strong communication skills to clarify requirements
- Ability to translate business needs into user stories and technical specifications
- Experience or understanding of Azure DevOps or ClickUp
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with C#, Classic ASP, or Java technologies (awareness level is sufficient)
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall, or Kanban delivery environments
- Experience in a change control or regulated environment is advantageous
- Analytical mindset with a natural curiosity
- Flexibility to switch between various tasks
Responsibilities
- Gather and clarify requirements from stakeholders, operational teams, and developers
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, technical specifications, and design documents
- Support workshops and discussions to extract requirements and challenge assumptions
- Act as the communication bridge between users and development teams
- Create and maintain documentation including user stories, technical design documents, and project plans
- Define test scope and create and execute test cases
- Log defects and collaborate with developers for resolution
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide practical recommendations
- Provide ad hoc IT and systems support as needed, including answering queries and performing system administration tasks
- Conduct out-of-hours implementation testing once per week with compensation in lieu
