Requirements
Must:
- I require at least 5 years of commercial development experience, with a strong focus on PHP and Laravel.
- I expect a solid understanding of Laravel features, including Eloquent ORM, routing, Blade templating, middleware, and queues.
- You should have solid experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is essential, with knowledge of Vue.js or similar frameworks being a bonus.
- A good understanding of RESTful APIs, Git workflows, and CI/CD practices is needed.
- I value testing experience, particularly with PHPUnit or feature testing.
- Experience with Docker, cloud platforms, or infrastructure tools would earn you bonus points.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset are crucial.
- I hope you are keen to take the initiative and drive technical excellence within the team.
Responsibilities
- You will lead the design and development of new features using PHP and Laravel.
- It will be your responsibility to build scalable and secure web applications for both internal and external use.
- You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Designing and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services will be part of your role.
- Writing clean, testable code using modern development practices will be expected of you.
- Supporting and mentoring other developers through code reviews and collaboration will be key to your role.
- You will contribute to architecture decisions and technical roadmaps.
- Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes will also be part of your responsibilities.
