Requirements
Must:
- I need you to have a working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory.
- Basic networking experience (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) is essential.
- You should possess hands-on hardware troubleshooting skills.
- A friendly, solutions-focused approach to support is crucial.
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is required.
- It would also be helpful if you have around one year of experience in IT Support (business, education, or public-sector setting).
- Awareness of data security, confidentiality, and safeguarding is beneficial.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above) would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to respond to support requests for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- You will need to set up new users, install, and configure IT equipment and software.
- Monitoring systems and performing routine maintenance checks will be part of your duties.
- Troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft 365, and network-related problems will be essential.
- You will log incidents and escalate more complex issues when required.
- Delivering a proactive, helpful service to users across the organization is key.
Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our well-established organization near Staplehurst, providing day-to-day IT support across a busy site. You will be part of a small, friendly team responsible for keeping systems running smoothly and users fully supported. We offer 22 days of annual leave (taken outside core operational periods), increasing sick pay with service, a contributory pension scheme, and a supportive team environment where you can build your technical experience. Please note that an enhanced DBS check will be required before starting employment.
