Requirements
Must:
We require a working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory. You should also have basic networking experience, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and LAN/WAN. Hands-on hardware troubleshooting skills are essential, along with a friendly, solutions-focused approach to support. Additionally, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are necessary. It would be beneficial if you have around one year of experience in IT Support within a business, education, or public-sector setting, as well as an awareness of data security, confidentiality, and safeguarding. GCSEs in Maths and English at Grade C or above are also helpful.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will need you to respond to support requests for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. You will set up new users, install, and configure IT equipment and software. Monitoring systems and performing routine maintenance checks will be part of your tasks. You will troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, and network-related problems, log incidents, and escalate more complex issues when needed. Your goal will be to deliver a proactive, helpful service to users across the organization.

You will be part of a small, friendly team responsible for keeping systems running smoothly and ensuring users receive the support they need. We offer 22 days of annual leave (to be taken outside core operational periods), increasing sick pay with service, a contributory pension scheme, and a supportive team environment that provides opportunities to build your technical experience. Please note that an enhanced DBS check will be required before starting employment.
