Requirements
Must:
- Experience working with Azure Data Factory and cloud-based data environments
- Strong SQL skills for querying, transformation and optimisation
- Experience building or supporting data pipelines and ETL processes
- Exposure to data modelling and data warehousing concepts
- Working knowledge of Power BI or similar BI tools
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and translate business requirements into data solutions
- A proactive approach, with an interest in developing into a more senior or lead-level role over time
- Exposure to enterprise data sources such as SAP, Salesforce or production systems (desirable)
- Awareness of data governance, data quality or data privacy standards (desirable)
- Experience contributing to improvements in data processes or standards (desirable)
- Interest in mentoring, knowledge sharing, or taking on increased responsibility (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, with increasing ownership as you develop in the role
- Work with stakeholders and technical colleagues to support the development of scalable, reliable data models
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the data platform, including data lakes and integration of sources such as SAP, Salesforce and production systems
- Collaborate with the BI Developer to deliver accurate and engaging Power BI dashboards and reports
- Support data governance, data quality and best practice initiatives across the business
- Play an active role in improving how data is used across departments, helping to turn data into clear, actionable insight
