Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience working as a product owner or similar role
- Experience of JIRA and Confluence
- Strong understanding of product management practices
- Understanding of Cloud Development, Data Modelling, PowerBI, AI, and Machine Learning modelling
- Experience of SQL server, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric
- Preferably educated to graduate level with a bachelors degree in business, computer science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Own the Group Data Platform product strategy and roadmap
- Own the product backlog and prioritisation process
- Work with the Steering group and the Business to identify and prioritise changes and enhancements to the Group Reporting Platform
- Collaborate with development teams and Data Delivery Manager to refine and size identified changes
- Gather ideas and requirements from the Business to ensure solutions are fit for purpose and gather feedback for continual improvement
- Support projects where appropriate
- Set and track progress against success measures with the team
- Support the team in adopting Agile ways of working practices and continuous improvement
- Work with other Group Technology teams to ensure project and team dependencies are highlighted and met
- Collaborate with the Data Director to highlight and manage Risks and Issues
Description
We are looking for an experienced Data Product Owner to join our Group Technology team in Milton Keynes. You will play a leading role in delivering change to the Connells Group Data Platforms, helping to steer the direction of the Group Data Platform. We offer a hybrid working arrangement with 2 days per week in our office in Milton Keynes.
