Requirements

Must:
- 3-6 years experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role (FinTech, SaaS, RegTech, or financial services preferred) - Strong SQL skills with experience handling complex, structured datasets - Experience with data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes - Solid understanding of APIs and system integrations (REST, JSON) - Proficiency in dashboarding/reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) - Advanced Excel skills for analysing large datasets - High attention to detail with a focus on data quality and validation - Ability to analyse data, identify issues, and generate actionable insights - Strong communication skills, comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders - Experience working with data governance frameworks or data-driven AI approaches - Applicants must have full right to work in the UK. Desirable: - Experience with enterprise systems (e.g. core banking, CRM, workflow tools) - Knowledge of UK/EU financial data and regulatory environments - Experience with Python or similar scripting languages - Exposure to cloud-based data environments - Familiarity with data models, ontologies, or knowledge graphs

Responsibilities

- Analyse data to identify opportunities for insights and improved data structures with AI support - Design and configure dashboards and reports according to client use cases and business needs - Apply a data and ontology approach to analyze data and system challenges - Work with Product and Engineering teams to refine data requirements and create models and ontologies - Validate and reconcile data across multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency - Identify data issues and partner with internal teams to resolve them - Support ongoing monitoring of data quality and integrity - Maintain documentation of data definitions, structures, and transformations - Partner with Product, Engineering, Delivery, and Client Success teams - Act as a bridge between client stakeholders and internal teams - Support alignment across teams to ensure scalable data architecture and successful delivery - Support data-related activities during client onboarding and engagement - Prepare, structure, and map data for use within our platform - Work with Delivery to define and document data requirements - Troubleshoot data issues and investigate discrepancies during and after implementation - Collaborate with client and technical teams to gather and clarify requirements - Participate in client discussions where needed, providing data-focused support - Translate business and data requirements into clear documentation - Support best practices in data structuring and management - Assist in defining data mapping, API integration, and transformation requirements - Work with client and third-party teams to enable secure and scalable integrations - Identify and escalate potential data or integration challenges - Ensure data is structured to support reporting, analytics, and future use cases - Build strong knowledge of data models, ontologies, APIs, and platform capabilities - Maintain clear documentation, including workflows and data processes - Contribute to improving data processes, tools, and integration approaches - Stay up to date with data best practices and emerging technologies - Contribute to team activities, delivery reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
