Responsibilities
- Build and own the company-wide AI transformation strategy
- Identify high-value opportunities across design, sourcing, commercial, supply chain and operations
- Translate AI capability into commercial outcomes and measurable KPIs
- Map and redesign processes as AI-first workflows
- Partner with teams to embed AI into daily activity
- Prioritise automation projects that reduce cost and increase speed
- Direct internal coders using AI-assisted development tools
- Train teams to become AI directors, not manual executors
- Run AI clinics and workflow reviews
- Build a culture where AI is normalised and trusted
- Select and integrate AI tools for design, coding, automation, forecasting and commercial analysis
- Ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective deployment
- Establish standards for AI-generated code, content, and decision support
- Accelerate product development cycles
- Improve forecasting, pricing, and margin optimisation
- Build dashboards that track ROI and adoption
- Support retail pitches with AI-enhanced insights and visuals
Description
We are a fast-moving consumer goods and product development business supplying major retailers around the world. We thrive on speed, creativity, and commercial agility. With AI now reshaping product development, sourcing, and commercial operations, we are looking to incorporate AI that will increase capacity, reduce manual effort, and improve margin without increasing headcount. This is a full-time, fixed-term contract for 6 months, offering a salary between £50,000 and £80,000 per year, with a hybrid remote work location in Oldham (Greater Manchester).
