Requirements
Must:
- Virtualization Expertise: Deep practical knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, and Proxmox clusters.
- Project Management: Proven experience in implementing end-to-end IT projects, from hardware racking to service go-live.
- Network Security: Strong understanding of firewall rules, VPNs, and endpoint threat hunting (ideally with Sophos or similar).
- Troubleshooting: Advanced 2nd/3rd line support skills for complex hybrid environments.
- Communication: Ability to translate technical project requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Administer the M365 Suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Intune for device management and application deployment.
- Administer Entra ID (Azure AD) for secure identity management and Conditional Access.
- Oversee administration and optimization of Hyper-V, VMware ESXi, and Proxmox environments.
- Lead installation and maintenance of physical clusters, enterprise servers, SAN/NAS storage solutions, and robust WiFi networks.
- Act as the primary IT administrator for Dynamics Business Central, focusing on environment stability and performance monitoring.
- Manage network security using Sophos Central, including configuring and monitoring Sophos XGS Firewalls and Intercept X Endpoint protection.
- Own the backup and disaster recovery strategy utilizing Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Provide administrative support for on-premise Jenkins and GitLab instances.
- Manage Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
