Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience working as a Business Intelligence Architect or similar senior BI role
- Strong experience designing and implementing data warehousing and reporting solutions
- Experience working with BI tools such as Power BI, SQL Server, or similar enterprise analytics platforms
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience working within public sector or local authority environments is desirable
- Ability to deliver project outcomes within tight timescales
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable business intelligence and data architecture solutions
- Develop reporting and analytics frameworks to support operational and strategic decision making
- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant legislation and governance frameworks
- Support integration of multiple data sources and systems
- Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations across BI platforms
- Document solutions, processes, and architecture models
Description
At Suffolk County Council, we are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Architect to support a key project within our Children and Young People directorate. This is a temporary contract opportunity for a highly skilled BI professional with strong technical and stakeholder engagement abilities. You will work 37 hours per week, in a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, contributing to data-driven decision making across our services.
