Must:
I am looking for candidates with a proven background in Senior Development, ideally with experience in the public sector. You should have experience in setting technology direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, complex, production-ready software. While familiarity with government strategies is preferred, it is not essential. I value confidence in your abilities, forward-thinking, and the capability to take on responsibilities with minimal guidance.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Experience in microservice development and containerization, preferably with Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of APIs and experience with full-stack development, covering at least two of the following technologies: Python, JavaScript, Node.js, or Ruby.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience in implementing security measures, including authentication, authorization, and SSO.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to engage closely with our public sector client and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions. You will be required to set the technological direction, ensure high-quality delivery, and actively collaborate with various teams. Your responsibilities will include developing microservices, working with APIs, and deploying applications using containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
Description
This is a 9-month contract position with a daily rate of £650, inside IR35. The work environment is hybrid, with the expectation to be present in London 2-3 days per week.
