Must:
As a Data Solution Architect, I expect you to have previous experience working with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark. Other key skills required for the role include extensive experience in data architecture and analytics platform solutions. You should possess expertise in all aspects of data, including lifecycle, technologies, data patterns, insights, analytics, machine learning, master and master data management, integration, data warehousing, data quality, metadata, and data compliance. A strong understanding of data governance and compliance requirements is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders, are crucial. Any experience with Microsoft Fabric would be desirable.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will rely on you to design and embed Data Platform Patterns, including Data Governance, Analytics, Engineering, master data management, and Visualization within a Cloud and SaaS ecosystem, ideally using Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Power BI. You will implement robust data governance controls, maintaining data integrity and compliance in data platforms. Collaborating closely with analytics partners and delivery teams, you will build understanding and compliance in a federated development environment. I expect you to drive optimization and foster a culture of hypothesis-based experimentation, focusing on customer experience, revenue growth, and cost savings while encouraging other teams to adopt an experimentation mindset. You will demonstrate experience working with teams that deliver software using Agile methodologies, ensuring agility and responsiveness in our data and analytics initiatives.
Description
This position will be based in our London office for a minimum of three days a week, with flexibility for some remote work.
