Requirements
Must:
- Linux (essential interest)
- Basic networking knowledge
- PC building and hardware troubleshooting
- Python and/or Bash scripting
- Exposure to test environments or IT infrastructure
- Graduate in Engineering or IT, or relevant experience
- Background in IT with a desire for hands-on technical roles
- A-Levels or BTEC in IT
Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop test lab infrastructure
- Build and configure PCs
- Support firmware and equipment testing
- Maintain existing systems and documentation
- Undertake light development work where skills allow
- Act as a go-to person for lab reliability and day-to-day technical support
Description
We are seeking a Test Engineer / Lab & Systems Support Engineer to join our Test & Infrastructure Team in Abingdon. This is a hands-on role where youll support a critical test and lab environment that is essential to our operations. Our team thrives on collaboration, and being on-site is crucial for maintaining the labs infrastructure. We offer a supportive environment and prioritize a proper handover to ensure seamless transition and operations.
