Requirements
Must:
- Experience as a Product Owner or similar role in Agile software development teams
- Strong user journey design and UX instincts, including practical wireframing skills
- Proven ability in requirements analysis and solution design
- Experience with process mapping and optimization
- Confidence working across API design, data models, and integration patterns
- Excellent communication skills to align distributed teams
- Hands-on collaboration with QA on BDD and release readiness
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and outcomes-driven
- Familiarity with software architectures such as microservices and secure authentication/authorization (desirable)
- Exposure to modern tech stacks (frontend, mobile, backend, APIs, DevOps, testing) (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer problems and map user journeys
- Translate insights into prioritized product roadmaps and measurable outcomes
- Drive discovery activities and validate solutions through experimental techniques
- Convert business and technical needs into well-formed epics, features, and user stories
- Apply UX principles to define workflows and interfaces, producing wireframes
- Collaborate with architects on solution design, including API contracts and data models
- Act as Product Owner for Agile squads, owning the product backlog
- Provide daily guidance on requirements, unblock teams, and reduce ambiguity
- Participate in increment and sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Champion quality by collaborating with QA/engineers to define acceptance criteria
- Support automated testing strategies and validate releases
- Work with engineering on API-first design and platform capabilities
- Communicate product vision and progress to business partners and stakeholders
- Engage directly with customers to lead discovery sessions and gather feedback
