Requirements
Must:
We seek candidates with strong experience in Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure DevOps. Proficiency in SQL and PySpark is a must, along with a proven track record of leadership in small engineering teams. Candidates should also possess skills in configuration management and documentation.
Responsibilities
As our Lead Data Engineer, I will expect you to lead data engineering across the platform. You will supervise DevOps processes such as branching, merging, and CI/CD. Acting as the Databricks DBA, you will manage environment promotion, maintain configuration, documentation, and monitoring. Additionally, I look for you to mentor and support our Data Engineers.
Description
This position is based in Warwickshire and is offered as a 6-month contract with a high chance of extension. It is classified as inside IR35, and we are open to candidate proposals regarding rate. The work setup is hybrid, requiring one day per week on-site. We emphasize transparency and support, providing specific Key Information Documents upon securing an assignment.
