Requirements
Must:
- You must have demonstrated expertise in finance, cloud operations, or cost optimisation within technology-driven environments.
- We require hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, along with proficiency in FinOps tools such as CloudHealth, Cloudability, or native cost management solutions.
- Strong analytical capabilities are essential, including advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI is considered a plus.
- You should be skilled in managing integration and migration initiatives across cloud and financial systems.
- A solid understanding of financial planning principles—including budgeting, forecasting, and modelling for both OPEX and CAPEX—is necessary.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills are crucial, as you will need to effectively translate financial insights for technical stakeholders and vice versa.
Responsibilities
- You will assist on a key project that requires urgent cover as a FinOps Analyst.
- Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial processes with cloud operations.
- You will be responsible for analysing and optimising cloud spending, providing insights to drive cost efficiencies.
- Monitoring and reporting on financial performance metrics will be a key part of your responsibilities, necessitating regular communication with both technical and financial stakeholders.
Description
This position is remote and based in the UK, with a contract length of 6 months. The role falls outside of IR35 regulations and is expected to start as soon as possible. We are eager to find an experienced FinOps Analyst who can step in and make an immediate impact on our project.
