We are looking for a Home Based Field Service Engineer who meets the following criteria:
- At least 4 years experience in an IT support environment, preferably within a managed service provider/IT service environment.
- Excellent networking knowledge and a strong understanding of cyber security risks and mitigation techniques.
- Proficiency in computer/hardware configuration and installation.
- A solid background in Windows; Linux knowledge is advantageous.
- Good familiarity with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Teams, for administration, troubleshooting, and setup.
- Understanding of the 3cx phone system would be a plus.
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, capable of managing your own time, tickets, and projects.
- Must have a full UK drivers licence and reliable vehicle to travel between client sites.
- Experience with job/ticket management systems.
- A dedicated workspace at home to work from.

Responsibilities
As a Home Based Field Service Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking hardware setups and installs at client sites in and around the Birmingham area.
- Managing projects both onsite and offsite, providing support to clients during project onboarding.
- Being an integral part of our client-focused team, ensuring we deliver the best client experience.
- Occasionally assisting with the helpdesk and suggesting improvements to enhance service delivery.
