As an aspiring candidate for the IT Support Trainee position, we seek individuals who possess a basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications and an interest in learning systems such as ERP, CRM, or HR software. You should be able to prioritize simple tasks and ask for support when needed while demonstrating a willingness to develop your professional communication skills. Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn continuously, and a proactive approach while seeking guidance are essential. A commitment to providing excellent customer service is also a must. While prior professional experience is not required, any exposure to emerging IT support technologies or experience in customer service roles would be a plus. No specific degree is necessary, although an IT-related background could be advantageous.
Responsibilities
In the role of an IT Support Trainee, you will provide first-line support for basic IT incidents and service requests under supervision. Your tasks will include assisting in documenting recurring issues and solutions for core business systems, supporting users with day-to-day system queries, and escalating more complex issues when necessary. You'll help maintain accurate records within the IT Service Management (ITSM) system and assist in documenting processes and updating internal knowledge bases. Additionally, you’ll carry out routine system administration tasks as assigned, communicate with external suppliers as directed by senior team members, escalate unresolved issues promptly to senior colleagues or management, follow change management procedures with guidance, and handle general administrative duties, acting as the central contact for a hardware supplier.

This is a full-time, onsite position that requires you to work in the office five days a week for the first six months, ensuring strong onboarding and development. After this period, we may consider flexible working requests.
