Requirements
Must:
- I require a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- I seek a minimum of 3 years’ experience in systems development within a similar role.
- You should be proficient in .NET languages (e.g., C#), ASP.NET, SQL Server, and MVC frameworks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and front-end frameworks (preferably Angular) is essential.
- I value familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- You should have the ability to mentor and collaborate effectively with team members.
- A willingness to learn legacy technologies (PowerBuilder .NET) and support migration projects is crucial.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to gather customer requirements and translate them into functional designs and software solutions.
- You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications, web services, APIs, and integrations.
- I need you to utilize development tools and frameworks such as PowerBuilder .NET, C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server, and MS Power Suite.
- You'll be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, specifications, and test plans.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time and within budget will be part of your role.
- I want you to write clean, scalable, secure, and efficient code that aligns with our development and security standards.
- Conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to colleagues is expected.
- You will mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing existing software for performance and reliability will be key to your responsibilities.

With a salary of £55,000 per annum and a full-time commitment of 37 hours per week, you will play a vital role in driving digital transformation across our organization.
