Requirements
Must:
- Excellent technical skills in network installation and maintenance
- Strong organizational abilities
- Experience with computer hardware and software
- Understanding of software licensing and compliance
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Group Policy
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting and system security
- Capability to perform Root Cause Analysis
- Good communication skills for negotiating with external organizations
- Ability to provide support during silent hours as needed
- Experience monitoring and maintaining server performance
Responsibilities
- Source, install, and maintain IT infrastructure components including hardware and software
- Ensure functionality and availability of the business network
- Resolve network issues and ensure all cables are traceable
- Manage and maintain local and remote servers
- Oversee the Active Directory / Group Policy structure
- Keep an updated inventory of all company hardware and software
- Maintain documentation of all IT work undertaken
- Ensure company websites are functional and well-maintained
- Establish and run appropriate data backup levels
- Ensure system security with appropriate virus protection
- Manage the telephone system and call recording devices
- Provide IT support during silent hours if necessary
- Assist with projects requiring negotiation or documentation
