We are looking for a talented Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Engineer with strong experience in IaC, preferably using Terraform. You should have hands-on experience with Azure services, Azure Policy, and migration frameworks like Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF). Familiarity with tools such as Artifactory, GitHub, and Backstage, along with a solid understanding of cloud governance and security principles, is essential. You must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to influence modernization initiatives. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are key.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform. You will support the migration of applications from Microsoft Web Application Firewall (WAF) to the Cloud Adoption Framework, ensuring compliance with Azure Policy. Your collaboration with product teams will be crucial in modernizing application architecture and operational practices during the migration. You will utilize tools like Artifactory, GitHub, and Backstage to enhance automation and workflow processes. Additionally, you will identify capability gaps within product teams and guide them toward relevant training for post-migration maintenance. Advocating for best practices in cloud governance, security, and automation will also be part of your responsibilities.

This is a 3-month contract role with the possibility of extension, located in London with a hybrid working model (2 days per week onsite). We are a financial services/banking client eager to modernize our ways of working and enable product teams to adopt best practices.
