Network and Security Analyst

- Design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments - Ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability aligned with business needs - Continuously monitor network performance, capacity, and reliability using appropriate tools - Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to maintain service levels - Operate and manage security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and secure gateways - Ensure systems are configured in line with security best practices - Monitor for security threats and respond to incidents in line with incident management procedures - Investigate root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions - Conduct regular vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and remediation activities - Work with stakeholders to prioritise and address security weaknesses - Manage network access controls, authentication mechanisms, and privileged access - Ensure the principle of least privilege is consistently applied - Support the development and enforcement of network and security policies, standards, and procedures - Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements - Plan and implement network and security changes through formal change control processes - Apply patches and updates to minimise risk and service disruption
