Responsibilities
As a member of our First Line Support team, your responsibilities will include handling and logging support calls through the ServiceNow system, and managing user accounts by creating, deleting, and amending them as required. You will oversee IT ordering processes, including license renewals and software agreements, while maintaining accurate asset and software databases.
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in managing starter and leaver processes, ensuring the timely collection and accountability of IT assets such as laptops, PCs, smartphones, and printers from departing staff. This role involves regular interaction with a diverse range of stakeholders, including internal and external customers, client IT teams, Railway UK IT management and leadership, as well as third-party suppliers and partners. This presents an excellent opportunity for you to develop your communication skills and build strong professional networks.
