Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We require candidates to have a strong DevOps background and experience in public cloud adoption following agile methodology. You must have Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) experience and demonstrate proficiency in managing a good development lifecycle. Effective communication with both technical and less technical colleagues is essential, along with the ability to document design and handover documentation with high quality. Candidates should possess technical skills in cloud delivery, AKS, GitHub, Terraform, and tooling to assist with cloud migration. You will interact with project managers and application leads, be willing to review delivery plans, represent the team, and challenge constructively. Familiarity with effective change control processes is also necessary. Minimum Essential Criteria: - Extensive experience with Azure, particularly in migrating applications to the Azure cloud platform. - Proven track record of cloud migration using industry-standard frameworks such as WAF, CAF, and Microsoft AzureRM. - Experience migrating applications from legacy architectures to the new CAF framework is highly desirable. - Design and deliver cloud-native solutions, including deployments to VM Scale Sets. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitHub Actions. - Demonstrate hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, particularly using Terraform. - Configure and optimise Azure services to support secure and high-performing cloud environments. - Assess networking requirements and design appropriate solutions, including load balancing and firewalls. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications. - Experience in Azure monitoring, performance management, and testing. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery of cloud projects. - Hands-on experience working in Agile methodology.
