Senior Java Developer - Glasgow

In this role, you will develop high-quality software design and architecture using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, JavaScript, and MySQL. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications will be a key part of your role. You will identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, maintain code quality, organization, and automation, and implement security and data protection measures. Additionally, you will conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. You will oversee the development of documentation throughout the software development life cycle and provide technical guidance and support to team members. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, and participating in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards will be critical as well. Furthermore, you will contribute to continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
