Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong proficiency in Linux, specifically with hands-on experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Operating System and cluster environments such as VCS Infoscale. You should have expertise in DevOps and automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and Puppet for orchestration, configuration management, and CI/CD automation. Proficient scripting skills in languages like Python, Shell, and Puppet are essential for automating data management and system administration tasks. A working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and VirtualBox, along with a solid understanding of networking fundamentals (especially TCP/IP protocols, port management, and firewall configurations) is required. Additionally, experience in developing REST APIs and performing integrations using tools like MuleSoft or Postman is highly desired, as well as the ability to develop and integrate Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning and deployment processes. Relevant certifications in Linux (RHCE), DevOps, VMware, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and experience in infrastructure management or DevOps engineering roles are preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will engage regularly with application teams and other infrastructure units to ensure seamless integration and operations. I will interpret functional and business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for implementation. Proactively addressing potential problems to ensure optimal customer satisfaction and system performance will be a significant part of my responsibilities. I will actively participate in stakeholder meetings, delivery team discussions, and other relevant collaboration forums. I will demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support infrastructure and application reliability, making recommendations to implement industry best practices in infrastructure projects to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
