Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or higher
- Strong engineering hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, and vert.x
- Familiarity with Java Memory Management, Garbage Collection, Multithreading, and concurrency programming
- Experience in system design & architecture with Spring Framework
- Familiarity with reactive programming frameworks like Spring Webflux and RXJava
- Proficient in developing RESTful and GraphQL based micro-services
- Experience with relational databases (Oracle, DB2, Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Couchbase, Cassandra, Mongo, S3)
- Knowledge of microservices design patterns and event-driven programming paradigm using Kafka, Solace, or MQ
- Skilled in Continuous Integration and full SDLC development tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, GIT, Maven, Junit, SonarCube)
- Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS with public cloud offerings (AWS, Azure)
- Experience in creating and implementing effective monitoring, tracing, and system performance tooling
- Ability to analyze and design depth and breadth (client, server, DB, control flow)
- Able to communicate complex data structures
- Deep understanding of core tools for planning, analyzing, crafting, building, testing, configuring, and maintaining applications
Responsibilities
- Build core features and functions of card transaction systems on a distributed platform deployed in the cloud
- Actively participate in agile teams and engage in latest development practices
- Write code and unit tests, and work with API specs and automation
- Develop seamless integrations between vendor products and the environment by developing APIs
- Collaborate with product owners, delivery managers, vendors, engineers, architects, and key stakeholders to resolve complex technical problems
- Maintain the platform health of vendor products through vulnerability remediation, CMDB validation, threat modeling, and ensuring enterprise resiliency
- Design, code, test, maintain, and document applications
- Define test conditions based on the requirements and specifications provided
