- I will deliver engineering expertise for our Future State Architecture, producing best-in-class payment processing capabilities. - I ensure that high-quality code artifacts are produced, surpassing quality gates and including robust test scripts. - I focus on delivering highly available and resilient software and service capabilities. - I participate in a wider delivery team, supporting the development of new capabilities. - I support the transformation of the current payment estate, concentrating on modernization and adopting cloud-based technology. - I set and maintain high standards for software delivery within the team, leading by example. - I serve as an expert in my area of responsibility, identifying process improvements and advising the department and management as appropriate. - I provide analysis and solutions to technical and business issues. - I keep myself updated on technology and corporate vision, setting direction for implementation. - I maintain awareness of business and technology strategies to implement technical alternatives that gain competitive advantage. - I manage the complex technical infrastructure of my assigned area to meet business requirements. - I provide technical solutions to business problems and offer leadership and direction to management. - I resolve architectural or development blockers as they arise. - I collaborate with the DevOps team to enable automated infrastructure delivery, ensuring DevSecOps value streams are executed and CI/CD pipelines are in place to deploy services. - I initiate analysis for complex problems, determine technical alternatives, and negotiate contracts as necessary. - I conduct feasibility studies of new and modified operational procedures. - For large systems, I prepare cost-benefit analyses, functional specifications, and detailed specifications. - I provide guidance in planning, designing, programming, documentation, and implementation of systems. - I conduct reviews of new and existing systems to ensure operational integrity and that objectives are met. - I design, code, test, debug, and document programs as required. - I provide architecture guidance based on best practices and in alignment with global standards. - I ensure compliance with all relevant controls and standards. - I stay current on tools, technologies, and regulations, particularly in areas like cyber security and data privacy. ###
