Must:
We are looking for an individual with experience in a similar role who is self-sufficient and possesses excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Applications. A fundamental understanding of networking is essential, along with proficiency in printers and print management. You should be capable of installing payment services and PDQs, as well as managing mobile phone setups. Advanced technical skills related to printing, terminals, and laptops are required, along with a basic knowledge of key infrastructure elements. A full driving license and access to a car is also necessary.
Responsibilities
As an IT Infrastructure Field Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of all core IT equipment, including networks, across various sites. Your role is crucial in ensuring uninterrupted trading operations. You will provide appropriate assistance, advice, and support to our internal customers. This is a field-based position, and while there may be some aspects of remote support and project work, most of your duties will involve visiting remote sites according to a defined schedule and producing reports from each visit.
