Requirements
Must:
- Good communication skills to interact clearly with clients and colleagues, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to confidently work with numbers and perform basic calculations (cash handling, discounts, data entry, invoicing)
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy to ensure adherence to regulatory policies and processes
- Good IT skills, proficient in using various technology devices and systems, with the ability to learn new applications
- Passion for delivering great service and building relationships
- High levels of empathy, discretion, and care
- Capability to perform physical tasks, such as moving coffins for family viewings (training and equipment provided)
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community
- Support clients both in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions
- Ensure the funeral home is clean, safe, and welcoming, maintaining a professional environment and reporting maintenance issues
- Utilize digital systems and devices to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements, and invoicing accurately
- Refer regulated work, like funeral plan details, to the Funeral Plan Arrangers
- Assist with the manual handling of coffins and the deceased
- Update client management applications with accurate and timely information
Description
Join our friendly team in Birkenhead and help families say the perfect goodbye to their loved ones as a Funeral Arranger. We offer a competitive salary of £25,369 for an 18.75-hour workweek, with part-time hours from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 5 pm. You dont need previous experience in the funeral industry as we provide full training and ongoing support.
