Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (preferred)
- 2 years of UK office-based work experience (required)
- Understanding of database and/or software design principles
- Experience working with SMEs
- Clear analytical thinking and precise written communication
- Proven track record in a busy environment with competing priorities
- Solid understanding of typical business management processes, including order management, stock control, and invoicing
- Aptitude and interest in complex business scenarios across multiple projects
- Strong inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively chair a meeting
- Excellent written English, with experience in business and technical documents
- Practical approach to problem-solving
- Resilience and flexibility under pressure
Responsibilities
- Identify, capture and analyse business requirements from our clients via workshops and Teams calls
- Create functional specifications for software development projects
- Brief managers and development team on project requirements
- Assess the impact of change requests and discuss risks and benefits
- Support user acceptance testing and go-live with client stakeholders
- Develop productive working relationships internally and externally, representing our company values of quality, trust, teamwork and delivery
Description
We are Cloud Street, a small team of business software architects based in Stirling, committed to designing and building bespoke business software systems for SMEs. We aim to deliver great products and ensure our clients are satisfied with what they receive. Our office is located in Stirling (Central Scotland), and we anticipate a full-time role with some flexibility for the right candidate. Benefits include a company pension, on-site parking, private dental insurance, and private medical insurance. We expect this role to be office-based initially, with the likelihood of mixed office/home working as you become familiar with the position.
