Requirements
Must:
- Minimum two years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably within a commercial or financial services environment.
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools for data manipulation and processing.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Knowledge of programming languages (desirable).
- Experience with database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server.
- Understanding of business analysis and database design principles.
- Proficient in using Visio for process mapping and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Gather, clean, and prepare data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
- Develop clear, insightful reports and interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Excel to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, providing regular updates to leadership on trends and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with senior management and teams across the business to provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Identify opportunities to automate data processes, streamline reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations, including GDPR and internal policies.
- Partner with IT, finance, marketing, and operations teams to support data-driven initiatives and improve business outcomes.
- Analyze member behavior, lending trends, and financial patterns to enhance services and product offerings.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to enhance skills and business impact.
