Requirements
Must:
- Strong software engineering experience across the full development lifecycle
- Expertise with backend TypeScript, Node, Python, and APIs
- Good knowledge of AWS
- Experience with PostgreSQL, DBT, and Amazon Redshift
- Exposure to data pipelines, ETL, data modelling, and LLMs
- Understanding of event-driven systems
- Comfortable working in complex, data-rich environments
- Previous experience within Fintech, Payments, eCommerce, or similar high throughput systems
- Willingness to perform brownfield, refactoring, and maintenance work alongside new projects
- Collaborative with great communication skills
Responsibilities
- Help build a seamless digital experience for energy trading
- Develop resilient, modular backend services
- Design data models and manage data flows between Postgres, Redshift, analytics layers, and APIs
- Contribute to technical discussions and decision making within the team
- Engage in both new projects and maintenance work as needed
