Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in modern software engineering leadership
- Knowledge of Capital Markets business environments (back, middle, front office trading operations)
- Strong technical background in C# or C++
- Experience with cloud-based systems, preferably AWS (EKS / ECS, Lambda, Aurora, DynamoDB, MSK, S3)
- Familiarity with modern tools and best practices including Snowflake (or similar), CI/CD, DevOps, secure coding practices, and observability
- Advanced leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
Responsibilities
- Manage 6-7 Team Leads with approximately 50 indirect reports, growing to 75
- Lead AWS-based modernization efforts and ensure engineering excellence
- Set architectural alignment, delivery, and predictable roadmap execution
- Define and scale AWS architectures and modernize legacy services to cloud
- Standardize APIs, events, data models, and performance patterns
- Drive the adoption of Snowflake and utilize AI for backlog refinement
- Implement automated test generation, defect clustering, and code quality insights
