Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on technical leadership skills
- Strong software engineering background with Java
- Knowledge of modern software architecture, including microservices, APIs, and Cloud technologies
- Experience using AI tools in a large commercial enterprise (e.g., Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, Prompt or Context engineering)
- Strong code review skills
- Delivery focused and champion clients needs
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nine Software Engineers while remaining hands-on with coding
- Focus on using Claude code and other AI tools throughout the development lifecycle to improve speed and efficiency
- Work across product engineering teams to showcase processes and procedures with AI
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and coaching to senior engineers
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to drive improvements and innovation
- Champion a high-performance engineering environment fostering collaboration, technical mastery, and continuous learning
