Requirements
Must:
- Strong software engineering skills with technologies such as Elixir, Rust, Scala, Ruby, or Python in a SaaS environment
- Good knowledge of AWS
- Experience in conducting code reviews and providing coaching and mentoring
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and explain complex technical information
- Delivery-focused with experience managing technical projects
- Commercial acumen
- Degree educated in a technical or scientific discipline, preferably Computer Science
Responsibilities
- Remain hands-on with software engineering, focusing on architecture and design
- Lead a small, cross-functional team responsible for the delivery and technical quality of all features and applications
- Guide the definition of the technical roadmap
- Ensure the system complies with software engineering standards for maintainability, reliability, scalability, and security
- Support the team in timely delivery by managing resources and removing blockers
- Provide training and career development paths to drive continuous improvement
