Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with strong full stack development experience, including proficiency in Java backend (Spring Boot) and modern Angular. You should also have experience with relational databases and SQL query writing. A solid understanding of REST APIs and real-time systems is essential. Additionally, familiarity with software engineering best practices and Agile development methodologies is required. We value collaboration and pragmatism, along with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in re-architecting and enhancing our scheduling platform to transition to a Java and Angular codebase from Ruby and TypeScript. You will design and develop scalable backend Java services and REST APIs, as well as build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular (v15). Furthermore, you will write and optimize SQL database queries and actively participate in technical discussions and decision-making as a senior member of a small team, where you will have the opportunity to influence best practices and technology choices.
Description
You will have the flexibility to work in our London City-based offices 3-4 days a week, with an option to work from home 1-2 days. We offer a competitive salary package of up to £90k, a pension plan, and 25 days of holiday, along with excellent career progression opportunities toward Technical or Team Lead positions.
