Requirements
Must:
- 2.1 degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline from a top tier university
- A grades at A-level
- Experience in a similar SRE role such as Platform Engineer or DevOps with SRE responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud-based services in production environments
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, Victoria Metrics)
- Proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M)
- Familiarity with Operating Systems (Windows/Linux), Kubernetes, issue tracking (JIRA), and source control (Git, Bitbucket)
- Ability to identify recurring issues and proactively address them
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain resilient infrastructure using Azure services
- Implement monitoring and alerting to proactively detect issues
- Automate deployments through CI/CD pipelines
- Work closely with development and security teams to optimize system performance
- Manage incidents and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Maintain high availability for critical applications
