Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with advanced backend Python development experience.
- You should have experience designing and developing distributed, scalable systems with message queues (SQS) and PostgreSQL databases.
- You must be experienced with web API architecture, particularly REST APIs.
- Experience working on SaaS products with Amazon Web Services (AWS), CloudFormation, and Terraform is essential.
- Familiarity with big data and analytics, machine learning, computer vision, and AI algorithms is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline is required.
- Experience with video and audio processing or video streaming is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities
- As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop new features and enhancements to the core platform and APIs using Python within an AWS environment.
- I expect you to work across the full software development lifecycle, communicating with customers and investors to design robust, scalable, performance, and secure implementations for new features.
Description
- This position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in Scotland, with occasional meet-ups with colleagues in the area.
- The salary for this role is up to £120k.
