Requirements
Must:
- Advanced backend Python development skills
- Strong knowledge of AWS, DevOps practices, CI/CD, Containerisation
- Comfortable with occasional front-end work
- Experience of owning the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle
- Proactive in bringing solutions to problems identified
- Experience working in Front Office trading environments
- Pragmatic with great communication skills
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a Greenfield trading systems build
- Design, build and maintain highly performant, robust, scalable trading systems
- Collaborate with front, middle, and back office teams to discover requirements
- Deliver technical solutions that drive business growth
- Lead and deliver high-profile software projects
- Champion best practices in software engineering, DevOps and cloud architecture
- Collaborate with the wider technology team
Description
We are a global Japanese bank expanding our product offering within the UK. As a Senior Software Engineer, youll be a crucial part of our asset management team, impacting the PnL and overall success of our business. Youll work in our London office three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home twice a week. We offer a competitive salary package up to £130k, including bonuses and pension.
