Requirements
Must:
- Experience in a Fintech/Finance/Banking environment, with a strong understanding of Futures Trading and Capital Markets across the full trade lifecycle
- Strong backend Java development skills, including Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices
- Good knowledge of AWS
- Appreciation of UI development with TypeScript/React
- Pride in producing clean, high-quality code
- Familiarity with modern software engineering tools such as Kafka, Kubernetes, and MongoDB
- Collaborative and pragmatic, able to take ownership and work with others
- Experience across the full development lifecycle
- Degree educated in Computer Science or a closely related discipline

- Take ownership of building a brand new Futures Trading platform for the UK
- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand and define new features
- Coordinate with other developers to ensure cohesive software development
- Implement the latest technologies while seeking continual improvement
- Work on complex and highly available mission-critical systems
- Partake in UI development work alongside backend responsibilities
