Requirements
Must:
- Deep Cloud Security knowledge and experience, particularly with AWS and some GCP experience
- Python programming skills
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, and other security technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify vulnerabilities and evaluate threats
- Data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience in a product, SaaS, or technology-based company
- Collaborative, pragmatic, and possesses great communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree educated in Computer Science (or similar) from a top-tier university
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust and forward-thinking security strategies, policies, and procedures
- Lead regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify risks and implement remediation measures
- Monitor systems, networks, and logs, and investigate security breaches and incidents
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements such as SOC2, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Collaborate with the wider platform engineering team with a focus on cloud security
