Requirements
Must:
- Expertise in network design and engineering within a Cisco environment
- Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls, SD-WAN, MPLS, BGP, multicast, TCP/UDP
- Experience in Capital Markets/trading systems requiring ultra low latency
- Commercially aware with an interest in understanding business impact
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- CCIE certified
- Interest in sports and understanding of betting is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the global, low latency, network redesign
- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot the global network infrastructure
- Implement optimisations for low latency networks
- Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers and business stakeholders
- Take ownership of projects
- Continually learn about and assess new technologies
- Make recommendations within a flat organisational structure
