Requirements
Must:
- I require strong C# desktop development experience on Windows within a banking or financial services environment.
- I expect a solid knowledge of SQL databases.
- I look for a good understanding of asset classes, such as Fixed Income and Equities.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, UI development, and cloud computing is essential.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are a must.
- A degree in Computer Science or a similar discipline is needed.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior .Net Developer, you will work on critical systems that support trading, operations, finance, compliance, and investor relations.
- You will be responsible for optimizing system performance to ensure efficient real-time data processing, reporting, and automation of operational workflows.
- Your focus will be on building C#, WinForms, and WPF desktop applications, along with designing and implementing scalable, service-oriented architectures (SOA).
- You will also gain exposure to web applications using React and/or Angular.
- This position involves collaboration with colleagues in the US and Canada, where you will be the sole resource on these systems in the UK.
