Requirements
Must:
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of Machine Learning foundations
- Experience applying Machine Learning in production to solve real-world problems
- Strong Python skills, including TensorFlow and PyTorch ML frameworks
- Proficient in probabilistic modelling (Gaussian processes, Bayesian methods, uncertainty quantification)
- Confident communicator
- Ability to proactively solve complex problems and seek help from domain experts, researchers, and engineers
Responsibilities
- Build ML capabilities that power our products
- Collaborate with the research team to productionise ideas that are ahead of published literature
- Evaluate and integrate established methods or develop new algorithms
- Ensure reliability and maintainability within a complex, integrated codebase
- Liaise with clients to understand engineering problems and guide them through new working methods
- Diagnose complex issues related to data quality, model behaviour, configuration problems, or bugs
- Shape product direction by balancing ML researchers visions with client needs and production feasibility
