Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with strong front-end JavaScript development skills.
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks is essential; while I use Vue.js, experience with Angular or React is also acceptable.
- You should have a product-focused mindset with good business acumen.
- A good knowledge of APIs and an in-depth understanding of web development practices, tools, and technologies is necessary.
- A desire to learn and adopt new technologies is a must.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities are crucial.
- Full software development lifecycle experience, including CI/CD and testing, is required.
- I value collaboration and Agile team experience, and I encourage mentoring of more junior developers.
- A degree in Computer Science or a similar tech discipline is preferred.
Responsibilities
- As a Senior JavaScript Engineer, you will collaborate as part of my Agile technology team to design and develop software.
- Your focus will be on front-end components using JavaScript and Vue.js, and you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of technologies including TypeScript, Node.js, Java, Python, and legacy PHP.
- I will encourage you to explore new technologies and utilize the best tools for the job.
- You will own your own DevOps and deployment processes, prioritizing immediate business impact alongside longer-term strategy.
